h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I began my sales career with Moeller Electric in November of 1999. I had a chance recently to revisit Germany and visit the main office in Bonn, Germany. I had been to that country before while in the U.S. Army in 1968. I forgot how small the streets were, no airconditioning, no ice in your drinks, small hotel rooms and bathrooms,etc. But I do remember the old cathedrals,and the fortresses that still guard the Rhein river. The U.S. has been around for only two hundred years, but Germany was there during the Roman times - 2000 thousand years ago !! All that was worth the temporary lack of luxuries that we Americans take for granted.
