I would like to express my absolute disdane for Sail Boston 2000. For anyone how does not know what it is, it's tour of around 15-20 tall ships from all over the world that are coming to Boston in about a week. This is going to make driving in Boston even worse then it already is. They State Police and our moronic mayor Menino will be closing many of the streets in and around Boston for the week. Most of these closings will be in aroung Northern ave, Summer Street, and many residential streets in South Boston and most likely in Charlestown too around the Naval Yard. This is going to make virtually impossible for me to get to and from work (I work on Northen Ave). When I asked if I could have that week off because it is going to be so hard for me to get here my boss politely responded by laughing in my face. He so kind.
