On Septmeber 11, 2001 the World Trade Center and Pentagon were attacked in an unpresidenting move by a terrorist faction. I have waited a few day to get my thoughts together on this and have come to a few conclusions. I am against violence of any kind and think I am a reasonable person, this was not a reasonable attack and I can not be reasonable about it. I don't want a war to happen but it may, the world will have to wait and see.
I have lost a few friends and been sick since it happened. I remember when the Gulf War happened, my oldest brother is in the Navy and was called over. I went to sleep everynight wondering if I would ever see or hear from him again. Thankfully he came home. I have another brother in the Army Reserves and if there is a war he will probably be called into action. I have many friends who face the potential of being drafted. My father was in the Vietnam Conflict before he pased away on Easter he was very sick, we couldn't put the t.v. on for him because he had PTSD and was waking up screaming and crying just my watching the news. I had to watch him cry as he thought he was back in the jungle and afraid for his life I know this will could kill and or be forever scared by a war.
I have heard some very hurtful things from people on the site since this happened and just want to say thank you to everyone for there sympathies and to those of you that think we had it coming why not look at your own country's problems past and present and remember without our support both financial and supportive you wouldn't have what you have.

Courtney, I wish I could give you a real-life big hug.
Believe me that the British people are grieving for you all.
I've cried every day since...
I keep going to watch the news updates.
I don't want there to be a war, but there must be an end to these barbaric acts.
All those poor people, all those families wrecked.
God bless you, and keep you safe.
