Water balloons have a more realistic feel and movement, but generate realistic backache too. So is it ok to sacrifice authenticity to avoid pain? Oh, the complications...

Wasn't there a scene in a film about this, where someone tipped the water out, and put something else in the balloons? I can't remember what they put in though... But they had a good feel until they were surprised by someone walking into the room.

Wild Wild West? Except that was the other way round: tipping beans out and replacing with water...
Which was a *really* bad film, incidentally...
