Had a friend over for the weekend and at night went out to a bar in Stuttgart. Since Me and my wife haven't spemt to much time in nightlife here, we are quite new to the scene and the chance of meeting someone you know is drastically low.
After a wile of good conversation (considering the volume of the musik) and a couple of caipirinhas our guest (from Augsburg) starts screaming over my left shoulder at someone behind my back, exactly the same moment someone behind my back yells into my left ear.
To get to the point: our guest from Augsburg met someone here in Stuttgart who also was a guest here (visiting his brother, as we found out later, who thinks that Stuttgart stinks and is a lousy rats hole...)
It shows again, that Germany is just a small place...

I once met my neighbour from Mexico in a German amusementpark. THAT was pretty strange as well...
Which reminds me of a book in which it was calculated, that such "coincedences" aren't that rare. What makes them rare is, that it happens to you.
