V-Day

The day before Valentine's Day. This is probably the first time in almost 9 years of marriage that I'm not still scrambling around trying to find something to get for my wife. Of course, I still don't have a card.
As this is my first Journal Entry, I'd like to do something momentus to celebrate the occasion. So in recognition of the event, I will go home from work early and goof off.
Actually, the situation makes me acutely aware I live and work in the United States. If I worked in Europe somewhere, I bet they already have national holidays devoted specifically to goofing off.
