Have posted a story on Get Writing and see that I am obliged to review five other pieces of writing.
Having never reviewed anything before apart from sitting around with friends saying "I love Stephen King Books" or "Have you ever read a Barbara Cartland"? I will have to read the notes on How To Do It first.
Has anyone ever read a Barbara Cartland novel? I don't know anyone who has (or maybe they just don't admit it!

I haven't read a Barbara Cartland book. I haven't heard of her as an author. But I am only 24 -- and the more I read, the more I understand that I know little compared to what is out there.
You are obliged to review 5 works of writing on "Get Writing"? Well, I did not know that. Hmmm, well then, I should review some writing posted there.
Don't be afraid of making comment on other people's work. Give your opinion and perhaps it would prove to be valuable information for the writers to write better or to express their points better. Also you would like the same help. Or would you rather have people humour you and not constructively criticize your writing that you wish to present your story comprehensively for a general audience to read? Also, you could ask, in your reviews, about which audience the authors are clearly aiming their stories at. You can ask, "Who do you wish to read your story?" Whatever comment you do make, it will be of some help to authors on "Get Writing".

Thanks ViveAnne
That is helpful
When I clicked on the How to Review thingy last night - the page was unavailable so I couldn't read the notes.
Of course constructive criticism is always helpful.
Hope you are well
Best wishes
