Summer has been very busy. Been working full time at the post office. Kids are away at their dad's in the city. Went fishing this past weekend. Caught 8 fish and a very bad sunburn.
The first haying is almost half done, so the livestock will have food this winter.

Hi FarmerKaren! Good to see you again. This week I went to the doctor for a routine lipid check, and wound up waiting 2 hours to see him. Argghhh.

I just finished a painting of two cute little girls; it turned out well.

I've been watching a show on PBS called Spy that is very good. All about training people to become spies. Fascinating stuff.

My boss at Canada Post also manages a security company that monitors shops for shoplifters and internal thefts. He doesn't know it but I have read all of the training manuals in my spare time at w*rk. When I told him he should hire me as a floor walker, he just laughed and said I wouldn't be very good at the job, because I'd be too obvious. (What he actually meant was that all of the men would be so busy following me around staring at my large breasts that I'd never manage to make an arrest. It's a good thing for him that I didn't report him to the Human Rights for sexual discrimination!!!!)
I'd like to see your painting. Pictures of little kids are great.
It's too bad that one has to wait so long for the medical community to do it's job. I've been waiting six months to see the orthopaedic surgeon about my foot, and now he tells me that I am on the list for "emergency surgery" to repair the damage done to my foot as a result of the last surgery a year ago, due to infection obtained IN HOSPITAL. So now, as soon as I get a phone call, I have to make my way to the city, almost at the drop of a hat, to go through another agonizing operation to correct their mistake
