Well. I've been away for a bit again.
I have been busy relocating myself to Greater Manchester for a new job and a new life in sunny Englandshire....
At the moment I am still in a state of culture shock and for the first time in my life I appear to be suffering from homsickness of a sort. I'm missing Edinburgh, but hey ho, I'm sure I'll get to grips with being down here shortly. Feel a bit like I'm living in exile at the moment. I'm probably going to be unbearable to be around for a while. so if you're in the Manchester area and spot an irate Scottish female demanding long vodkas ('I don't care if you don't know how to make one, I demand a long vodka') or, at the very least swigging iron bru in a corner, looking sullen and complaining about the quality of the regional television - please don't hit her with a big stick, she'll soon calm down
