Love - a misused thing

So, I was reading an article in a local paper, as I sat in a haircuttery today; the article spoke of a crime, which was one of Love. The verdict of the jury, against the acused aggressor, who carried forthe the crime of love, was pretty much go ta' jail, an' ya best NOT pass go. Now, I found this amazing, he commited a crime, out of LOVE!? (what he did was kill his wife and her other lover...) The killer was quoted as saying somthing to the affects of I did it cause I loved them both to much to let it go on. My respons to all of this maddness:
"WHAT!?"
Once again, love, has preplexed me - I have likened love to hydrogen, its extremely abundent, and in mass quanitity's, when it is hard to control, it becomes extremely dangerous. So, yeah... I think the article was entirly a fraud, in that he was miss quoted, and there is NO way in anything, that love did that - people use this word much to broadly.
