You can't. I know...it's very sad. There is a rumor that someday soon there will be a way to edit and/or delete journal entries, but for now you can't do anything about it. I have one that I would really, really love to delete since I made a huge error. The best thing to do is post a few more journal entries so the offending ones will not be visible.
It is so nice to read something nice about South Africa. I have a friend stationed there and he is forever moaning about the place. But to be fair...he is working way too many hours in an office and hasn't had a chance to see the real Africa. I have begged him to go to Victoria Falls and give me a detailed description. And I will keep hounding him until he does

Hi there zmrzlina,
thankyou for your info and advice, you are very kind.I shall take your advice and put some more stuff in in an effort to push it down to the bottom of the pile.Another reason to motivate me...lol.
I am sorry to say that i have not been to Vic Falls either, however i know many who have and i believe it is paricularly spectacular, visually, spiritually and otherwise.i had p5anned to spend \the millenium on a house boat on the kariba but it didn't happen so zimbabwe is still something on my to do agenda. My travels in Southern Afica encompass,SA,Botswana,Swaziland,Mozambique and the homelands. It is a stunning part of the world with a complete variety of landscape from desert to mountains to bush.I have been fortunate enough to see a great deal of it and spend quality time doing so,but the truth is it would require several lifetimes to see it all.It always makes me smile when i hear people say they have "done" SA in a two week coach tour.I would recommend that you make a plan to come here particularly if you have pounds or dollars, you would be blown away by the value you would receive for your money. However, try and avoid coach tours, and try and make your own personnal plan. You will get better value, and get a better feel for the place. You need to hear, smell and feel africa as well as just seeing it,in order to appreciate it properly.
Oops,i'm rambling...sorry...lol.Best you let me know if you want anymore info before i carry on,if so,i would be delighted.
Thanks again for your knowledge
All the best

Oooo...should I ever get to Africa, I would certainly *not* join any tours groups. I am a bit of a loner, although I love meeting people I won't be traveling to SA anytime in the near future. The trip to Europe this summer will pretty much exhaust my savings for quite sometime. And here in the States...vacation time from work is very limited

It would seem that we have things in common.
I hope you get to experience Africa one day.Is it your first time to europe?,which parts are you going to?I worked quite extensively around europe as well, but it seems like a lifetime ago now.
Glad to hear that you are not into Coach tours, although to contradict myself,i should say that if you're time is limited and you are visiting various parts of europe then tours are much more viable simply because there is so much history, architecture etc etc to take in
