Oh empty crisp packet, lying in the gutter in the teeming rain.
Such a pity your owner will never see you again.
Robbed of your contents, and carelessly crushed.
Discarded while your owner homeward rushed
.
Oh empty crisp packet, lying in the gutter in the teeming rain.
Your flavour never cheese and onion, only plain.
You never knew what lay ahead beyond the track.
Your goodness sacrificed towards a tatty snack.
