I am so terribly bored....and a bit melancholic...

I guess...
Like I said, life has not been overexciting lately, and that makes me a bit sad. Everything goes like it's supposed to go, except for my brilliant meet plan of course. It looks like we're only having 12 or 13 attendants for it
Thanks for showing interest though

I dropped in from the info page- i saw the conversation title and decided to check it out, I hate when ppl aren't happy, and a sigh in the subject line usually means they aren't....

True. Well, it could've been worse, I suppose.

Well I cannot wait for the Dutch meet and it doesn't matter if it was just Shazz TM you and me. I intend on having a weekend to remember

Well, I can almost guarantee you that. Sleep well in advance ~evil grin~
Still, I think it's too bad that it's only 11 or 12 people will show up. Last week, all the maybe's cancelled on me, and it did not make me happy

You do know that I have a tendency to fall asleep *wherever* I am after about 1am don't you?

Well, in het Kasteel that's not much of a problem. We have more people who do that from time to time. However, the saturday in Amsterdam could turn into an interesting evening that way .

Who will make sure that Peta stays awake then?
Oh well, I can always have the DJ's in het Kasteel play very loud music

Aha, but I wouldn't define het Kasteel as being a regular club. Have you read my entry on it?

Let me know what you think of it, will you? It's already in the Peer Review que, but I'm still open for feedback (technical that is, the content is approved by those who know, like TM, Arutha and Don Vito).
And to make things even more interesting, this entry is just a written view on het Kasteel. The real-life experience is far more entertaining

You walk towards a building that slightly resembles a bunker. It's not really inviting from the outside. When you enter, however, you walk into our newly painted hall. It's black with a red band all the way round. The doors to the important places are painted silver. Ahead of you is the small bar, which is currently closed because we're rebuilding it. (I can open it up friday, so that y'all can take a look at it). To the left is the main hall. Once you enter the main hall, you see a rather big bar to your left. Ahead of you is the place where the DJ's do their work, and to the right is the podium.
When you lot will be there, we probably covered a part of the main hall to make it smaller, cause we don't have any special parties and/or bands that night. Depending on how many people are there, you are greeted by the smell of what some would call typical Dutch substances. People are sitting at the bar, talking, drinking and doing whatever they feel like at that time. Our policy is simple. We allow quite a lot, as long as you don't offend or bother other people with it. Everybody can talk to everybody, there is no such thing as little groups that only have conversations amongst theirselves. The complete atmosphere in there is one of relaxation, fun and alcohol . I don't know, lots of people that enter het Kasteel for the first time instantly feel at home, without even knowing why. Even I cannot say clearly why I like it there. It's just...het Kasteel. It's hard to explain. That is why I said that you really have to experience it. I can write down every single aspect of what it does to people, but it doesn't have the same touch to it...
Am I making sense in any way?
