Last night I stayed up finished a chemistry presentation so naturally I expected to be but today was fine and sunny. I forgot my curious incident book and the library was closed (both facts I discovered during lunch) and that dampered my good mood a bit, especially when we played softball for a mind-blasting hour. However, my was retored easily while reading Jonathan Swift's pamphlet "A Modest Proposal" I remember an excerpt of it in the history textbook, but here it was and I ed my head off, then in Sociology the next class there were American election speeches to compare, when we were called to assembly and heard class officer speeches, and I have got to say, the (sarcastic) ways to ease dues and "tax cuts" were hilarious and charming.
I have this good about King Arthur by Richard White to .
Cheers.

OMG!! "A Modest Proposal" is about eating children, right? If that is the one I'm thinking of, I was at first scared because I thought the man was serious!! Until I realized it was satire when everyone laughed at me. I suppose I should have read the introduction the book had before I read it...

Why yes, we are so fond of mockery, but the fact that he includes so much detail matteroffactly makes one shiver (not with laughter) about the dark times and darker atmosphere that enshrouds the vast sphere of experiences between the rich system's abuse of the poor... Where do ou help, or decide to draw a line?

Whoa--that was deep. "about the dark times and darker atmosphere that enshrouds the vast sphere of experiences between the rich system's abuse of the poor... "
I agree. My philosophy teacher thought that in order to have capitalism, someone always has to be poor. And he also said that it was bad for the US economy to have low unemployment levels. My philosophy teacher was ironically a close-minded man who thought he was extremely clever, so I didn't always trust what he said.

Poor you, and man, I thought folks are openminded in philosophy, though there's a structure, the first step to stability, or Aldous Huxley seem to suggest and I concurred with this, is the stabilized economy. Capitalism is competition. I prefer socialism, but there's no way that US will get that unless their population decreases tenfold and I wondered why we communism and are with socialism, when essentially all they need are regions peopled with higher <moral> standards.
Do you have an email address by the way? Or simply chat on im?
