What a week.

On Saturday, I split up with my girlfriend of 20 months. Needless to say, I wasn't very happy.

Then on Wednesday morning, some IDIOT drove into the back of my mums car, while she was letting traffic coming the other way get past some parked cars. He was far too close, and not concentrating at all. So yesterday (Thursday), we had to take the car into the garage (in Birmingham). We were told straight away that it was a write-off. Mind you, we had been considering getting a new (second-hand) car.

So then we went to get a hire car (which we'll claim the cost of back from the other bloke's insurance). It's a Ford KA - really nice to drive.

Then in the afternoon, we started the search for another car. We found a couple of possibilities - we're hoping one of my sisters (more mechanically minded) friends will take a look at them for us.
