h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

We've decided not to go. In the end the unknowns were too great so we've decided to stay where we are and spend some money on our current place. This will not stop us having a good old clear-out of ten years worth of accumulated junk. It will be like having a new house all over again without the hassle of moving .

Good solution. A clean-out and excuse to collect all over again.

Yup, and maybe a new kitchen into the bargain .

Kitchen...hmmm...yeah...I think we have one of those in our house

What?! You mean you're not sure? Who does the cooking ?

Well...no one likes my cooking anyway...so they fend for themselves most times. And the girls are the better for it since they are learning to cook I don't eat much and when I do...I'm in and out of the kitchen in record time. If there were an Olympic sport in food preparation...I'd have a gold

Well, it's good for the girls that they learn to cook. It would be good for boys too if you had them .

I like cooking and will happily spend a couple of hours in the kitchen, although a good bottle of red wine does help proceedings along .

I would probably like cooking, too, if anyone would be adventurous enough to try new things. My eldest dated a boy who is a wonderful cook. I liked when he came to visit I was very sad when she broke up with him.

Shame . Talking of trying new things, way back in the dim and distant past you were going out with classmates for dim sum. How did it go?

Cute segue. It was really pretty yucky. I didn't know what was in all those little packages and there were so many of us at the table that by the time I got my professor (who is about as Irish as they come, but speaks incredible Chinese) to tell me if there was meat in them thar lumps, the lumps had passed by. However, I am to be her assistant this semester and she promised to hold at least one meeting while enjoying dim sum and find all the veggie delights for me
