After several hours in the garden my equilibrium has been restored
Humanity is rebalanced

The Son purging my soul of all the horror of the news
The smell of damp earth has replaced the stench of greed

Small flowering plants planted row on row
Offer up the hope of a brighter horizon to behold

How does one stay focused on the noble……. continuing to believe in destiny with faith

How does one not give into fear when it demands to be let in continually pounding at the door of ones mind?

When the racket of the world hollers in your ears and your mind scurries to and fro……seeking calm and quite ……how are you to hear the voice

Why in the garden under the Son…… with birdsong to soothe…. wind to cleanse…
Green to replenish……. small hands to help

Hearts lighten…..minds clear….souls soar communing once more beyond the galaxy
Returning filled with peace and quiet assurance….. not only is it well with my soul….but will continue to be…..

Just seek ye first……and ALL shall be added …I hear Him cry
I know it is true ……He is to be trusted…….
Peace….most precious of all ……Shall not be let go so easily when next he comes to steal

Thanks Nic I should probably clarify I have been flat tack recently with clients three in particular who are really struggling

one elderly couple who have worked solidly all their life to have all the money they invested for old age lost by a local bank on the american sub prime they now have to sell their only remaining asset their home to finance the rest of their old age

another young couple where the wife has three jobs and hubby is working every hour God sends to meet their mortgage repayments and she is simply worn to a frazzle trying to raise the children too

and another couple where only hubby can work and he is working 15 - 16 hour days and is simply exhausted but cant do anything about his situation because their is no other work in his area, so they either sell up and move to the city where they could not afford to buy a home or they stay put and he keeps working hoping things will get better at some point in the future

I have felt very angry of late that there are the likes of tom cruise, and other Hollywood stars, sports stars etc who don't work any harder or even as hard as these people and yet these individuals are struggling to put food on the table and keep a roof over their head while cruise is off buying $60,000.00 motor cycles.

Why should someone making a film or tossing a ball through a hoop get so much money that they never need to work again and others who don't want something for nothing who are prepared to work and have worked all their lives loose everything because of corporate greed.

society is so screwed up with our values totally upside down...people have to matter more than profits and every person who owns shares and simply allows corporations to do what ever they want so long as they get a dividend each quater are who i blame most...rant rant rant smiley - steam

If I had my way every person on the planet would be paid the same amount, all competition would be banished and everyone would work co-operatively with everyone doing the work they love smiley - magic

MMMMM guess I am still venting...I hate seeing good people fret and worry and be able to do nothing other than sit and listen and encourage them to hang in there.smiley - erm

I am, far too often, not far from the same situation of some of your associates. I do know how hard life is, and more than how unfair for some to drink $1,000 champagne while others can't find clean water. Dear, I can only offer the longest distance hugs, and tell you that I do know how it hurts a heart to see it all ...

Not really angry with Tom Cruise...We are a nation of billionaires - trained to put up with private aicraft featuring jakuzzi baths among other things flying over the heads of elderly people who get 100 dollar a month pensions
smiley - cool

Now here's a story to soothe your pain.
I have a 94-year old friend living alone in a Moscow suburb - no family to look after her, no toilet, no bath, no running water, fortunately the heating system keeps working, fence falling apart, the house probably her age and a total mess...Needs to pay for daily help as can only walk with a kind of support (hip broken)...
Well, on Tuesday I'm getting some money for her sent from London by the son of her late friend...The son (a film-maker - though definitely not as wealthy as Cruise) is fulfilling his father's request to take care of her, as she had once taken care of him - over sixty years ago, before they were both gobbled by Stalin's Gulag (concentration camp)she had helped a refugee from Poland lost in the Soviet Middle Asia... They both survived the camps, but lost touch, he moving to England, becoming a successful doctor, getting married - she living at subsistence level...
When things got really nasty for her, he turned up - I still wonder how he managed to find her from London - and continued to help her make ends meet until his death some years ago...The son made a documentary film based on his father's trials. The good boy keeps in touch and tries to be helpful - God bless his father's soul!
smiley - ok

That, dear E, is a beautiful tale. And while I'm not as tied to the faith as you and H, I see that as the truest spirit of Christianity. smiley - hug

As a people, a faith and a way of life, which is pretty much all pieces of the same puzzle, they are a tribe to admire. As are those who heard the first calls of Mahommet. Later interpreters, well, as with so may other ways ...

"Bless them"
