By myself,
waiting for something to happen.
On the shelf,
looking for tension to slacken.
You're the one,
that could be there for all time.
It's not fun,
trying to think of a rhyme.
I don't care,
where you are.
It's the place,
and it's not too far.
Sitting and dreaming while I am awake.
Hoping that others don't think I'm a flake.
Does it matter that everything's hoaxed?
Or are all of my efforts a joke?
