Another long night of work has yet again led me to logging onto the internet. I wonder what today will bring. In a few short hours I will be behind the bar serving drinks to my daytime regulars. Maybe I should get some sleep before then, maybe. Will there be tips in my future for today? I hope. Will I ever have the money for the down payment on my future house? I pray. Will I be adding another entry to my journal tomorrow. You bet I will.

Hiya, Ersatz. I gathered from your journal (because, yes - I'm that bright ) that you're a bartender. I'm a waitress, and just wanted to let you know that I not only feel your pain, but was wondering if you'd make me a drink. I could use one after the day I've had.

Personally, I think we should get all of the service industry people together on here and form our own society. Invent a secret hand shake. Those sorts of things.

But then I do tend to have a wee bit too much free time...
