Now, that's a COMMUTE!

I got a call today from one of my employment agencies -- an opening came up for a temp to permanent job that's just perfect for me. It's a little bit too late -- as of November 2, the commute would be about 450 miles!
Sadly that agency doesn't have a branch up here. I suspect all the jobs at my level of experience are filled through temp agencies. I wonder if they'd give me the name of the firms they use, if I called NASA Ames, Lockheed, Google or Apple? Think maybe Steve Jobs needs a secretary?
