Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Babel17 Started conversation Jul 20, 2001
Hi long time no chat. How's life? Been missing you online. Life sucks, but what's new. They got me on 12 hour shifts now
How's your side of the coin? Wanna swap yet?
Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Babel17 Posted Jul 21, 2001
Really? Ah well, they obviously can spot talent when they see it.
Mmm don't mind if I do. So apart from that, I assume they are keeping you busy? managing to get anything else done in your life? Up to any mischief? You know me, just curious. (probably why I end up in so much crap! )

i'm writing again. serialising, more like it. go to my webpage *you know, my nick with the .net attached* , and you can read a bit of it. It is called 2001: an s&m oddyssey.
do you have any time to spend with your gal, with those 12 hour shifts??
Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Babel17 Posted Jul 21, 2001
Yes, some, tho I sometimes think I am just sharing a house with another person, not living with them, if you know what I mean.
She is equally busy, so for example, when on Nightshift, unless i catch her before she goes to work I don't have any hope of seeing her while on Nightshift. She is away this weekend anyway, so not so bad.
Well it is actually cos I should be at the scottish meet tomorrow (today) but won't be Especialy since Peta is making the effort to come up. Bum. But i have been keeping myself ammused on here, as you may have seen
*sips cos he is parched*
Hahaha! Just read 2001, very good When can we expect more? Weird actually, after reading a set of books by an author last year, i started to think a bit like her, and could see how easily it might be to write something in the style of her books. Would make interesting reading too Never got around to it, but then I am a lazy B'tard after all

Who is this author? Surely you can mentioned a name, as long as you don't start giving out personal information.
Most of it is written, I just have to bring it up. There should be more up later today
Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Babel17 Posted Jul 21, 2001
Cool, I shall keep an eye out for it.
The author is called Isla Dewar. she writes books based in and around Edinburgh and Scotland. I just liked them. But the style of writing is witty, but not bogged down. I could write like that if I put my mind to it. Blimey, some of the things I could write about
Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Babel17 Posted Jul 22, 2001
Well, I say I could write about many things, and I suppose I could. Whether or not it is worth it is a whole different matter entirely
Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Babel17 Posted Jul 25, 2001
LOL, so are you saying that I can't write for toffee? Or that anything i write would indeed be crap? or both?

I take it that you have never had peach tea.

Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Babel17 Posted Sep 18, 2001
No I haven't actually.
*stirs the by now mouldy and decides to just throw the cup out and start again*
So when is the next trilling installment of 2001:S&M? How's the dreaded w going? Keeping you way too busy no doubt?
Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Researcher 99947 Posted Sep 19, 2001
I'm not quite sure when the next installment will be. Most likely tonight, now that I think of it. I have been working on the site most of this evening. Not much, small steps, etc.
Work is pleasantly boring.
How is your life lately?
Hello Sporkulious one! :-)
Babel17 Posted Sep 19, 2001

I wish I didn't need a job at all.
So, were you hired back at the same rate?
