Pierre raised funds by selling his own house and finding a private investor. He also sued Dior for breach of contract.
The "He" there - is that Pierre or Yves? (as I presume it was Yves' contract)

Good point! That would be funny to discover a mini dress-shaped hole in a dress - permission is a better word 
Good point about the contract... Please rephrase to: "He also helped Yves to sue Dior for breach of contract."
