Hi Frank,
I like your personal introduction - you remind me of me except don't drink (quel horreur!). I also like your poems.
Are you an official Friend? If not I'd like you to be, even though I'm no longer around and about as much as I used to be.
How about it?

Sorry, I've only just noticed you haven't added any friends. So maybe you don't want any. If that's the case, just ignore my note, with no hard feelings. I meant what I said about your poetry, though.

Hi there Jabs; I must come across as an unfriendly beast, but that is not me really, just a bit slow in finding my way around the system. I am only just getting around to the way this collection of pages work, and how they are interconnected. Put it down to my age, not, please, to an unfriendly demeanour.
I love the way people's moods are displayed in their poems, and how we can watch moods change from day to day. All of life is being lived out here. What a brilliant idea.
I am a bit of a hermit, I confess, but I hope you will consider me as a friend.

You got it, Frank, as they say in America. Would you like to go through the process of becoming an official friend? You'd have access to my journal automatically then, just in case I get another hare-brained scheme in my head to add to the others some time, and for general friendliness. Of course, you're a friend anyway, just not officially.
Thanks muchly for your remark about my poetry idea. It is fascinating, I agree - much more so than if the poetry were dire and unreadable. Thanks for playing your part in this. I liked the poem about waiting for a girl and then following another one.

Hi there my Jabberwocky friend. I think you are going to have to guide me through this official befriending, as I still get a bit lost here.
Barkis is willing, but not that bright this morning.
I will look in here later.
Meanwhile it is Sunday, and I will be on my way to my special Sunday afternoon pub where I always read my two Sunday papers at the same table, a little away from the main scene, another bit of evidence of my reluctance to embrace life, maybe.
They like me there, as I don't cause trouble.
Always a chance that a pretty girl will come over and kiss me and lead to yet another poem (Jenny Kissed Me, comes to mind, but that has already been done )

3. Click, and you're done.
Don't be afraid to ask again if this isn't clear enough.
Welcome, friend!
Jabs
