YES!!! Wasn't that the most bizarre thing? According to my teacher's interpretation of the blackberry story/poem/whatever the heck it was, I totally missed the point. Still managed to do well though. I think it was mostly luck...or it could be following Douglas Adams' theory that the more improbable something is, the more likely it will happen.

I only got a 4, but still, I was surprised! Some of the most archaic crap I've seen!

Yeah, it was strange stuff. I guess it's something only english teachers can understand. I got a 5 (no idea how) but I'm still very glad it's over! We analyzed things to death, and for a while I couldn't even watch a movie without thinking of a thesis statement.
