Hi

Great quote. I actually had to deal with it when I took my AP English test. I think it's one of the greatest lines.

Oh and Hi! I hope you are having fun on H2G2
Hi

Welcome to 'The Guide' Jen.
If you need any help or are looking for cool things to do, why not check out the ACE team at the ACE team at http://www.h2g2.com/A214796
Alternatively, just ask anyone. One thing about the guide I find rather unique is that everyone is so friendly.
If you want to see some cool things you can do with your homepage, whey not visit the Guideml clinic at http://www.h2g2.com/A187229.
Above all have fun, happy researching, and here's your fish

Hi there
Cool- you took AP English! I took that class last year. And it was definitely ummm...an experience. For my exam I had to write about the spiritual relationship between a guy a bear and a wolf...or something like that. Glad it's over.
Hi

Welcome aboard, Jen (it is Jen, isn't it? Or is the name even more inscrutable than it appears?). I just added a short note to your NYS Thruway entry.
Don't worry too much about using GuideML: supposedly it doesn't affect your chances of having an entry affected. Right now what mainly has an affect seems to be the tremendous backlog (13 weeks or so) that the editors are valiantly trying to clear up.
If you're running Windows, you might want to nip round my home page and have a look for the links to Guide Dog -- a sort of WYSIWYG editor for GuideML.

AP English was definitely an experience. I took it 10 years ago. My only problem with it was that the first semester we took apart poems and analyzed them to death.
Now whenever I look at a poem I start to have flashbacks

Don't knock it. I had to pay good money for Dangerous Psychedelic Drugs to ensure flashbacks.

Oh, I had a fun evening. But I managed it without a new millenium hangover. I guess I must be getting old
Greetings and Slautations!
Miss Archy Posted Jan 2, 2000
The family party was cancelled this year, so New Year's was rather quiet. Still fun though. I didn't get drunk - haven't figured out a way to do that whilst drinking sparkling grape juice
Greetings and Slautations!
Researcher 93445 Posted Jan 3, 2000
Yep...I've been a bonafide hardcore alcoholic in the past. Now I don't drink alcoholic beverages at all. Still miss 'em every single day, of course. But all in all, life is probably better (for me) this way.
Greetings and Slautations!
Researcher 99947 Posted Jan 7, 2000
