So in the words of Adam Ant, what do you do? And in the words of the excrable Gallagher brothers, what's the story?
Damn.
Henry Posted Sep 6, 2001
Stop avoiding the issue. I was drunk, OK? A big bottle of cider or two can do that to a frogbit. But being a tee-total dragonfly you wouldn't know about that. Look, frogbit is a kind of marsh/water meadow plant, so I get to see a lot of your kind, and they all want to know how you skipped the larvae/nymph stage. If you have discovered the secret, they will pay well in any variety of cheesecake you can imagine. These guys are serious.

::giggles:: How very cute!!!
But see, it happened this way:
I'm really Memory, the Mother of the Muses. Zeus grew jealous of my love for the BEATLES and all the time I spent inspiring THEM, so he turned me into my current form. That's really it...
Damn.
Henry Posted Sep 6, 2001
Are you powers of recall fading now you are in insect form?
Didn't you used to be Mnemosyne? Or am I dealing with an imposter?
Damn.
Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Sep 6, 2001
HEH!!! I'm no impostor!!!
Damn.
Henry Posted Sep 6, 2001
Okay, prove it. Zeus had a mole in an embarrasing place. Can you tell me where that place is, and how many worms the mole ate in a day?
Damn.
Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Sep 6, 2001
That's just silly.
Damn.
Henry Posted Sep 6, 2001
Ah. You nearly got me there - avoiding the issue again. The real Mnemosyn would have been able to answer that one. PROVE YOURSELF IMMEDIATELY OR ANSWER THE CONSEQUENCES!
Damn.

::waggles her butt::
You don't want to make Zeus angry...
Damn.
Henry Posted Sep 7, 2001
He's *always* angry. And anyway, I'm a plant, what's he going to do? Turn me into a human?
Key: Complain about this post
Damn.
