*gently puts down Jinx, Lisa and Lupa and runs off to collect their bowls of food and other stuff*

*comes back in, drops some bowls with fresh meat and milk, then starts setting up the breeding equipment for the mice*
Okay, lets make this our home for a while

*takes a few mice from the breeding-pen and releases them for the kitties to chase after*
It's a pity they're asleep right now. They like catching mice, although Lisa hasn't yet found out that she can eat them too...
Lupa is a completely different story... even *I* (as a bare bone skeleton) have to be careful with her around, but I *do* feel connected to her

Hi Skelly. Thankyou for the invitation. Lovely apartment. I'm quite fond of cats...though not the type that are always getting their claws out. I prefer the gentle, purring, curl-up-in-your-lap kind.
Interesting idea with the mice...reminds me of something...
Would you happen to have anything to drink in your closet?

Ah, Viccy... come right in, what would you like to have?
You actually like the same kind of cats that I do. IRL I have one that really uses her claws for everything. If she wants to curl up in my lap, she yanks her claws deep into my knees and then *pulls* herself up in stead of using her back-leg muscles to just jump up.
I also had a tom-cat, and he was very gentle. I've never noticed that he even *had* claws Unfortunately he died totally unexpectedly, without my even knowing he was ill. The critter couldn't have been more than three years old.

*puts comforting arm around Skelly*
That's so sad. How old is the cat you have now?
And I'll have a little cider, if you have some, please. It's easy to see why they call you ACE.
Viccy xx

One cider for you, enjoy. I'll just spoil another coke myself...
Without flesh it's very hard to hold *any* drink, but I just can't kick the habit, you see?
*takes a sip from his coke, it goes right through the lower jaw and stains the floor*
This happens all the time now... Oh, I'd love to actually *taste* the stuff again. But then again, if I *could* taste it, I would have taken a whiskey.
Anyway, where was I?...Oh yeah, the cats...
Actually, two cats are left here (I had three together). But I wouldn't know how old they are exactly. Even the guy I have them from wasn't sure about their age.
I'm not called an ACE yet, I have just TAKEN it as a part of my name, because I've volunteered to be one, and the title ACE *was* after all my own suggestion. Fortunately for me, the H2G2 staff felt it was the most apropriate name for Peta's greeting-assistants

I think you're ACE anyway!
Isn't there something we can do to cover up those bones? I don't think the chains quite do the job! I don't 'hold my drink' well either, but I don't quite have your problems!
Time for me to drift off on cloud nine...

Thanx for the compliment
I'm not sure we could do anything about my bones being bare. The flesh is gone, and nothing else would do as well
Ok, sleep tight now, Viccy, and come again if you wish

How the hell did you manage to pick up a full-grown wolf, might I ask? It's not like you have any muscles on you....
And more importantly, why not just ask her to come along? A wolf is not a lap dog, thank you very much.

Hiya Lupa!
To answer your first question... I may not *show* much muscle, let alone enough muscle to carry a wolf around, but if muscles were that important, how on earth would I move around anyway, right?
And for the second question: I didn't ask because you were 'asleep' at the time. If you don't like it here, you're free to leave, ofcourse. You should have seen how I cleaned out '' in 'The Forum and Firkin'
BTW: you don't have to thank me for anything, you're welcome anytime!
Just hang around or leave as you please, ok?

Grrrrr....
I might hang around if there's any steak to be had, but keep in mind I get very snappish when dragged about. Next time I might decide that those bones make excellent chew toys.
In the meantime, since you seem to be asking for it: *SMITE*

Hehehe, *that's* the Lupa I know!
Ofcourse there's some steaks around, didn't you see how I've dragged in the bowls of food, just after bringing you here? Maybe you'd also like a fresh and bloody heart to chew on?

Mine is that fresh anymore, I'm afraid. I lost it about two or three weeks ago. So I'm positive you're not serious about chewing on that one! Have a fresh bull's heart instead

I meant "is *not* that fresh anymore". Sorry for the glitch.

Lupa Mirabilis, Serious Inquisitor Posted Nov 25, 1999
But the nice man down the street packed it in ice, I saw him! He's still got it. And you know I'd much rather chew on _your_ heart. So much more satisfying, what with the symbolism and all....
