Guess who's back, suckers
Posted May 28, 2002
Well... me. Hello.
Project X is close to completion. And when it is....
I'll be starting The Trickster again. Except this time it will be:
a) Funny
b) Interesting
c) Informative
d) Tackling serious issues
e) Not so much about my personal life (unless that suddenly becomes interesting)
f) More focussed
...I promise.

Moderators!
Posted Apr 14, 2002
Ok, I have just had my Researcher Page removed on the grounds that it contains "personal information, such as a telephone number, or postal address."
I've never posted anything like this. So unless ((9*7)/6)*(3+1) = 42! is a phone number, I'd say the moderation system needs an overhaul.
And before you say it, I believe that there are quite a lot of seventeen-year-old males living in England.

Back from the Meet...
Posted Jan 27, 2002
I've just got back from the h2g2 winter meet... I've really nothing more to say, except this: if you didn't go, you really missed out.

Yep folks, I'm a year older. Just one more year to go until I can (legally) buy alcohol!

America
Posted Sep 16, 2001
I've only just come back to h2g2 after a short break, so I'm a little late with this.
The events in America are horrific. The loss of life terrible. I still can hardly believe that it's happened.
However, terrorism is universal. This sort of thing has been happening for years. All that's different about this attack is that it was against the most powerful country in the world. Attacks such as this are not something new, and they aren't going to stop if America goes to war. In fact, they are liable to get more common, and even more devastating.
Yes, terrorism is an horrific evil. But it's only now that it's become a global issue. Terrorism should have been this important already: it should not have needed this disaster to make world leaders - especially the US president - think seriously about it.
Maybe controversial. But, in my eyes, true.
