Hi, LoKuZ.
I just stumbled across your entry on Manufactured Bands, and seeing that I really loved it, I felt compelled to pay you a visit. (Happy Birthday, though quite belatedly ) Being a native German speaker, I have bad news for you. While LoKuZ does, indeed, not mean anything in German, it strongly resembles the word Lokus. As you were thoughtful enough to point out in your entry, wierd spellings are a part of our wierd modernday culture, so the similarity *is* striking.
Well, then, what does Lokus mean? It is, of course, derived from Latin 'locus', which is 'place' (as in 'location'). German Lokus referrs to a special 'place'; people use the word to referr to the toilet...
Sorry for these terrible news. But you will survive

Well...
I was originally called Zem. But there are a lot of Zems.
Then I called myself lokus... but when I found out what it means in German, I changed it to LokuZ (as a mix of both names).
'Zemzem' actually means something like 'hate' in Japanese.
Still, I'm going to stick with LokuZ - some famous researchers have names which change their meaning completely when one letter is altered (such as Wowbagger, for instance...).
