Well, I have just updated it, added a bit about guides, tidied it up and correct the "weather" bit as Casino is looking good.
I've also just looked at learning GuideML, and have used it for the first time. This is also the first time I've used an XML and only the 8th time I have used anything in the *ml lines, so here's to hoping it worked out okay.

Time Phrases
Posted Jan 6, 2000
Time has some really good phrases that may or may not indicate fairly a good sense of time
Such as
"in the nick of time"
"no time at all"
"just a mo" - meaning wait a couple of hours
"no time like the present"
"time flies"
"time waits for no person"
and what is so versatile that it can be more than one time at once: today's tomorrow is the day after tomorrow's yesterday after all!

Time
Posted Jan 6, 2000
I don't particularly care for things which indicate the ordering of time, especially deadlines.
I don't like events that happen to a specific time such as exams, although I reserve the left to like birthdays and other holidays.
But I rather like time itself. There's nothing like a juicy second. And as for a big fat hour, well!
Count my clocks and watches and pocket sundials.
They nearly outnumber my hats.

Diary
Posted Jan 6, 2000
I do not like diaries.
Or timetables.
Or calendars.
Electronic Organisers.
Appointments books.
Those little cards you get from the dentist to say when your next appointment is due.
Reminder notices.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
