Time has some really good phrases that may or may not indicate fairly a good sense of time
Such as
"in the nick of time"
"no time at all"
"just a mo" - meaning wait a couple of hours
"no time like the present"
"time flies"
"time waits for no person"

and what is so versatile that it can be more than one time at once: today's tomorrow is the day after tomorrow's yesterday after all!

Time seems to me to be a totally arbitrary matter...Time is slow in dull times and speed up when fun gets going, I like the idea from Catch 22 that if you just lay prostrate staring into your pillow you'll have lived ages longer than the ones who've had fun in the meantime. I could live several eternities in what would seem like the blink of an eye to a cheerful person, that'll teach 'em, cheerful bastards I'll outlive 'em all in a moment......

Time is one of those wierd things
I think that the attribute you are talking about must be something to do with the human brain being able to go through the curvature of space, and general relativity and all that complicated stuff that the cleverst physicists find tough, subconciously.

Could be, I for one nickname it subjective time as opposed to objective (measurable) time and believe that the former is the most important of the two. Subjective time tends to be too short in fun times though, objective time can be of great help there....

objective time can also be useful when two different subjective times are of totally different orders of magnitude

Like two different persons experiencing the same moment and action and experiencing different subjective time? Let both live in separate subjective "time Zones" then. Both are right.

I'm not saying they shouldn't live in separate subjective time zones, but they need a reference to be able to understand the other
