Alright - If Judith is still there, get her to write up some guide articles on "The Great Wall" and other things she has done on her holiday. We're fairly tied to a 3 gorges trip as they are being flooded at the end of the year and therefore will never be the same again, but need other thoughts too .

No, she isn't. I wouldn't be in the office at this time on a Saturday evening if she were.I'm thinking of writing on The Great Wall myselfand/or the Beijing Hotel but lack time.

Incidentally, spelling apart - and even I wouldn't have expected that - that's a fantastically active synapse considering it must be 11 or 12 years since you used it

It is a re-awakened synapse. I got myself an AA (thats Automobile Association, not Alcoholoics Anonymous ) guide to China - and it has a map with the title "Zhonguo".
That triggered a lot of memories - and the talking up this holiday thing has involved stories of South China seas and trips to Dalian, and the beer labels etc.
..but I didn't tell Christina about the "lantern fish" .
