Ooooohhh... Not sure. Since about last September I think. But I never realised how much fun it is here! It's like a kind of mini-community! When did you join?

Hmm not sure, it must have been October but it seems longer.

H2G2 isn't just a mini-community, its a community made up of (mostly) Douglas Adam's fans, this must be why all the forums are so bizare

I haven't read any of the HHGTG series for ages, though. They were spoiled for me by having to study them for English GCSE - My teacher was great, but he knew all the jokes and laughed for about a minute before each one, so when you finally got to it it wasn't funny any more! But I've learned to forgive him

In the end, I got so annoyed that I wrote a spoof essay about how the book's entirely based around a Christian allegory

Haven't read the Dirk Gently novels, although they are sitting there on the bookshelf looking at me accusingly! One day...

The dirk gently books are worth the effort i think the secon one is the best of the two.
