h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

In the time I've been on h2g2, a lot of new people have signed up and joined the volunteer schemes. There was a time when I knew everyone by name, but that's impossible as this grand experiment continues to thrive. So I've decided to pay a visit to each Researcher in the various volunteer schemes and say 'hello'.

Jimi X: I ran across you when I asked you this question about whether something was in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius. However it looks like the in-house team decided against merging the entry I had(soft pretzels with your one about pretzels too, so they merged it out again.

Sporkulous Eglon: Well that's what you were called when we met. Its gone from that to Freedom Deep to Ahenodia to Lock Stock and Barrel to Magik. When will you stop? Anyway I used to have a java-script thing that made this table appear on my page about how to do different characters in html, and you were doing a guide entry on ascii so you asked me to get it working.
