Hi Subcom, As you may have noticed, I've finally unsubbed from the Iraq thread. I've been back to have a look and saw your question about the Martin Wolf article. Apologies if I misled, but it was the Financial Times, not the Economist. It was in the FT's print edition yesterday (Wed 26th). For your interest... I've started a thread on Ste's space where we might continue discussing the Iraq issue, if that appeals. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/F70143?thread=252014 Also, I've started a thread on "Ask the Community" about changes to the UN which follows on from points raised in the Iraq debate http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/F19585?thread=251826 Geoff

Hi Geoff,

I was just thinking today that I should drop a note on your personal space thanking you for your contributions to the Opinions on Iraq thread.

On the topic of changing the UN, you might be interested in "360" which is a section of the BBC website in which contributors make suggestions for presentation to the UN. If you haven't seen 360 before, you might want to check that out. Like h2g2, the articles and suggestions there are as good or as absurd as you might expect from the public.

I'll have to check at work if we have access to Financial Times. I know we received a lot of their newsletters and bulletins in the past, but some of those were ones we didn't use, and I can't remember if we did the main title "Financial Times."

I'll definitely subscribe to the Iraq discussion thread you pointed me to on Ste's space.

Thanks!
Deidzoeb
