Nice Chinese Chick Flick recommendation, I've only seen Raise the Red Lantern out of them and it was too long ago to actually rememeber it unfortunately - but I vaguely recall that it was pretty good .

I thought I'd just pop in and see how you're getting on and welcome you to Collective. I hope you're settling in and finding your way around. I'm the community host so if you do experience any problems then feel free to come over to my space and ask me. You can also go to the the 'frequently asked questions' section (A817139).

If you're looking for interesting places to head then maybe I can suggest a few:

- If you want to look at content then the front pages link to our current content. They have links on the left hand side (music A809804, film A808922, going out A809868, staying in A818011 and audio video A818020).

- If you want to look at existing content then just use the search box above or browse the archive (link under the search box). If you do go through the archive you'll see that we have full audio tracks, film trailers and interviews amongst other stuff. You can also comment on any of these things by either joining in a conversation or starting a new one.

- If you have anything that you want to ask then head for 'ask collective' (A823934) where you can ask anything really or else head to 'feedback' (A823880).

- If you want to talk to people then you simply join in with a conversation that you see or you can click on peoples' names and visit their space. You're welcome to come to my space and see if any of my conversations catch your eye.

Thanks for stopping in. I poked around Collective just now and saw that the "chinese chick films" recommendation showed up on the films page. Cool! Is this similar to having an entry accepted in the Edited Guide on h2g2? I've been a regular there for a few years.

At first I was worried that Collective was mostly focused on products, but it's turning out to be fun. Keep up the good work!
