The Sci Fi author? I noticed that someone on Memepool.com linked to that article, but I didn't realize it was getting around that much. Cool!
So how do you know it caught Bruce Sterling's attention? I looked on his site for some kind of blog, and searched google for "Bruce Sterling furni" but couldn't find anything.
