Thank you very much. It was a pleasure to read text from like-minded individuals
Didn't like his idea of combating Christianity through the spread of Islam et al: that's betrayal, and dishonourable. As is murdering fellow guitarists.

I checked 'em out. Blod Og Ild on the low quality sound (that doesn't translate to Blood On Ice perchance?). Didn't seem to have the extreme drive that they said it did. Oh well. So I try the next song on high quality...takes a while to download so I give up partway throughg. From what I heard that song sounded no different to a Dark Funeral track I got.
That's the problem with black metal. It's the heaviest around but it all sounds the same . Someday, I'm gonna revolutionise it...

A little revolution now and then probably wouldn't hurt.
"Blod og ild" means "blood and fire". Boring if yuo ask me..
I've heard about this guy from Sogn (a fjord...) who is using old Norwegian folkmusic and turning it into black-metal.
That sounds more interesting.

Sounds very interesting. Is he just playing them out on a de-tuned guitar or is there something more to it?
Dammit man, this is why every band needs a website!!
I been thinking about getting a band together now, actually. We tried it earlier this year but it didn't work. I really think I could do something now. If anything, it could fire me into playing bass more.
Hmmm, think of it...the first black metal band with thoughtful lyrics...less of the blood and fire and more of a message. Wonder why nobody else thought of it before?
