Good to hear from you, dear old !
I'm pretty good, I guess. I really should write a new Journal Entry for the benefit of anyone else who wants to know what I've been up to, but the short version goes like this: I've just finished my B.A. (Hons.) in Combined Studies at the University of Bradford. I did my dissertation on 'The Documentary Feature Film as a Political Weapon: A Case Study - "Super Size Me"'. I'm now recovering from all that work, catching up on all the things I'd been neglecting while I was madly busy studying (including h2g2) and anxiously awaiting my results. Once I feel that I've regained all the sanity I lost by obsessing over my studies, I'll decide what to do next. I'd like to stay in academia in some capacity, as a postgraduate student and/or as a University employee. The student mindset suits me; intelligence and eccentricity get a person accepted and applauded at University, and I can be a 47-year-old 'Doctor Who' fan without attracting ridicule.
Whether I get the chance to stay in the groves of academe will, of course, depend upon my final results, about which I am cautiously optimistic.
How about yourself?
