I'm back!

Hey everybody! I finally figured out how to get my home page back. 
World events are pretty much insane at the moment. I hope everybody is OK.

Wow! I've been gone for a while and every time I get back, something new is waiting for me! 
The site improvements are brilliant.
I'll be around until after Christmas so I hope to contribute some things to the Guide while I'm here. I've already submitted an entry on the Star Spangled Banner to Peer Review.
Of course, it hasn't received much feedback yet...
That was a hint - go there now and read it!

Summer

I've been in Oklahoma so long that I'm ready to scream. My employer sent me out here in early summer and I'm still here. What was supposed to be a part-time thing is looking more and more permanent.
Makes me wonder why I'm still paying rent in Carlisle.
My woman dumped me, which I totally understand. You can't have a life when you're living on the road trying to get a new lab straightened out.
I haven't even felt like doing any entries. I'm kind of fried.

I know I've been away for like five months, but when did all this happen? I mean, wow!
Of course, all my graphics are designed to be seen against the blue goo background so I've got some work to do there.
But from what I've seen, the site seems much faster and it a whole lot cooler.

Everytime I get some time online, I'll respond to my forums and then I disappear for a few weeks again. It's a crazy way to have a conversation!
