h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have a 7 year old son with Down's syndrome and attends a mainstream infant school. He is due to transfer to Junior's next September, but the headteacher is very oppsed to this. He is using excuses that are not in compliance with the SEN Code of Practice and refuses to read any of the information available about including pupils with Down's syndrome in mainstream schools. The local newspaper is doing a story and when they asked the headteacher for his comments, he denies refusing my son a place!
