Hello, good to see someone back, not sure that's the general trend these days

How's things and what brought you back?

Great to hear from you too.

I have been mooching around some old friends and you are the third one to answer.

I got the standard email from the towers when Don't Panicking Ltd took over the site

So here I am, eventually

I thought I might stir things up a bit, like the old days now after having a attack and along with semi-retirement, I have more time

From what I see, HooToo seems to be struggling a bit. So I am starting up a researchers help group (not named yet) and would like to invite you along for the ride - someone has to keep me in check.

If interested get back to me.

If not, perhaps you could outline what's good about this place and should not be touched plus what you think is the way forward to get the site back to how it used to be.

This is totally unofficial, It's me, sticking my nose in like the old days.

I will then collate Researchers views and get the New Towers to notice what members of the site would like see to bring h2g2 into the 21st century.

(OR) any suggestions on how to get new and old researcher to stick and enjoy this site.

So please - let me know your views.

I have not as yet created a home page for this yet but will do so once we get a few members together

Yeah sure, I'm happy to help out, not sure how much time I'll have to help out these days but I can donate what time I have available

I think the main problem with driving people off is the moderation frankly. Everyone I've seen * recently has done so because of moderation decisions.

Aside from that, the usual things, ability to post pics, maybe allow people to customis their homepages with their own code like the real good old days...
