Titania (gone for lunch)

After seeing you posting in the 'you know you're a h2g2 addict when' thread I realized I haven't bumped into you for a very long time - nice to see you again!smiley - cheers

Way back when, I seem to remember that we used to frequent the same conversation threads (but I might be wrong) but not any more, it seems - how are you?

Yeah I seem not to see many of the old folks around here too much anymore although I'm still around quite a lot. I bumped into Argon0 too on the same day as I posted to that thread - that's probably why I spotted you, I think it may have been him who revived it. I seem to hang largely around askh2g2 these days.

Life is in a state of semi-permanent flux at the moment as i'm performing an extended change of location from Birmingham England to Cardiff and this involves the selling of two houses and commuting between the two at weekends. It's tiring and I miss my partner Phil in the week but it's made the weekends all the more precious which is a bit of a silver lining.
We're almost at the point of no return on selling Phil's house which will make things a *lot* easier though so fingers are well and truly crossed.

How are things with you?

I'm just fine. I spent a week in Austria during my holidays - a few photo links available in my journal.

I've restricted the number of h2g2 conversations that I keep up with though - I prefer to stay subscribed to a few with a bit more substance rather than several 'light-weight' ones.

One of my 'musts' is Lil's Atelier - I've been hanging around there for so long (ever since I became a researcher) that I feel I know most of the regulars almost personally by now. One of the US Salonistas visited the UK in May, and we even had a mini-meet just to celebrate her visit!smiley - biggrin

Good luck with the house business!smiley - goodluck

Ooh, nice piccies, I must make it to the Alps one day. I live near the Brecon Beacons in Wales though which are nice (there's a photo of me there in Azahar's h2g2 friends collection).
I must say I'm into mountains too. We went to Gran Canaria on holiday in January and I spent 3 day in the island's interior looking at stunning volcanic scenery. Very cool. We managed to book a hotel in a horrid tourist trap too so it was doubly good to get away from that.

I'm pretty random in h2g2 these days, I just float about seeing if there's anything interesting happening. I suppose that's what I've always done though. smiley - smiley
