I don't know if I, as the contributor of the article "HappyTom Parker", should be replying to the above. I am constantly researching Happy Tom and have added details as they turn up, particularly from the 1911 census which I placed last week. I have no intention of leaving H2G2, and am more than pleased to have my piece checked over and suggestions for improvement will always be appreciated. The biggest worry I have is whether I will be able to continue editing when it is accepted as a guide entry. Can anyone advise me of that please?

Hello dulcimer_dave
Peer Review is actually for finished articles destined for the Edited Guide. However, you can always update an edited entry with new research, which would be attended to after a second stint through Peer Review. Hope that helps!

Hi Dave, on reflection you Entry was moved from Peer Review a bit too soon. We've now taken it out of the Flea Market and we've put it back into Peer Review - apologies for the confusion: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F48874?thread=6299686 Please continue to feed back your comments into this forum. (The old Peer Review thread is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F9394461?thread=6124735) You can continue to make as many changes to the Entry as you like while its in Peer Review, as you respond to comments and suggestions made by your peers. When it gets picked by a Scout for inclusion into the Edited Guide, a copy of the Entry gets made that is then farmed out to a sub. It's this copy that gets into the Edited Guide and you cannot directly edit this. However, you can always inform us of any minor changes you'd like to make once the Entry is in the Edited Guide. You do this by contacting us at Editorial Feeback: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/Feedback-Editorial Alternatively, if you've got major changes to make, you can do a complete update: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/updateforum We look forward to your comments in the Peer Review forum and to getting this Entry into the Edited Guide. All the best. h2g2 Eds. :-)
