This is an open forum, so everything you post can be read by everybody else, and you cannot delete it, nor can you correct it once it is sent. This is where the 'preview' button below your answering box comes in handy

So why not read the Guide to Netiquette on h2g2 at A901838 before you put your foot in? You're much less likely to accidentally upset somebody if you're familiar with the site's Netiquette. To give you an impression of how you may feel if you posted before thinking, take a look here: A11284193

Good Afternoon Ace
Sorry I have not replied sooner. The HooToo Musicians guild site is under refurbishment at the moment but I will keep it in mind, many thanks.
My main musical interests are traditional folk, and being an old fogie these days I have a strong nostalgic hunger for the sixties.
I do not know if being 57 entitles me to being called a silver surfer but I'm not bothered.

Hello, I've just replied to the other thread.
I didn't know about the Musician's Guild being refurbished, are there any conversations going on at the moment?
If you like traditional folk, I think there are a few local BBC radio stations which play it regularly. You can listen to them on the internet. But you probably know that much better than I do.

Morning
I have now joined the musicians guild but am wondering how to read any correspondence that has come to me. I see on the opening screen that people have reacted to my entry but I can see no way to see these reactions in order to respond. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.

Thanks for that
I have now replied to the link. I am off on holiday to Krakow for 7 nights from Saturday so will not have much contact for next week.

Well, the site will still be here when you're back, so don't worry.
A friend once sent me songs of Fairport Convention, I found them quite melancholic. Didn't realise they used the dulcimer, must pay attention next time I listen to them.
Key: Complain about this post
