Don't leave the bear cave! I think you've coped with the questions really well. People can judge for themselves when someone gets a bit aggressive, especially as your own style is warm and friendly.

And I'll go further to say it isn't a bear cave at all ... and that you've really done well holding your own there on the ol' God Thread.

You have to realise that there are a lot of old fogies over there who have been debating the same questions for years. But don't let yourself become 'fresh meat' for them . Just keep on stating your case in the very clear way you have been doing so far.

There really is no way you are going to get the atheists, polytheists, etc. to agree with you, but as Andrew knows - *waves to Andrew* - the discussion keeps people thinking. And talking.

And as long as people are talking together there is a chance that everyone might learn something, or at least get a chance to understand each other better.

I agree with Andrew that your debating style is very warm and friendly - and also tolerant - and I hope you never lose that quality.

So, will you stay? I admit I mostly lurk on the God Thread these days, but I've really enjoyed your input.

Yeah, we're really cuddly bears, not grizzlies. We may be trenchant at times, but we're not hostile.

Heck, Math's a druid and I'm an atheist, but we actually became good friends on this thread. Disagreement is not a bar to mutual respect and friendship.
