Muzak in Kansas
Posted Sep 23, 1999
Well this is just to start a rant on radio stations. I am in Kansas in the USA and if you like Country Music the airwaves are your friend. Never say bad thing about Garth Brooks while in Kansas. They will hurt you and then make you listen to him. There are 5 other radio avenues in Kansas. One is NPR/clasical radio which is fine if you hve a weak heart and cannot afford to get to excited. Two, is Christin Radio, which is fine except it stinks, I suspect JC listens to I.Ron.Butterfy. Three, classic rock, I like Led Zepellin but I can only take so much of Stairway to Heaven, this is why JC likes I.Ron.Butterfy. Four, Hip-Hop, while Kansas does have a African-American community most listeners are white sububanites who pay top dollar to look urban. People who like real rap listen to CD since the radio station can't play any of that stuff. Five, Top 40, some song arte good but I cannot listen to the same song over and over and over and over again and again. there are some other small radio stations that come and go and often have a transmitter less powerful than my microwave.
This rant ends now.
