Hi LM,
I'm posting this in h2g2. Don't know where it will end up but just saying hello. If you want a "sensible" writing site try Bewrite.net. Also why not come over to Morewriting.co.uk.
Champion fighter chap, well done.

Irish bred we never quit, congratulations on being the very first to find me, I got here by accident but having joined up just to be nosy a while ago, I suppose it was really premedited or even inherited skill.
Herewith my first message since geting kicked off GW. I think that I may have been the last to post on GW and also to crit, my own work to be sure but who is better qualified than the owner anyway.
As it had been posted a few hours ago I think that perhaps I was deliberately allowed to get away it, I would like to think so, also the honour of being the last to leave, and to switch the light off for everyone else.
Thanks Patrick.
Cheers H.
and what do know here they are here already and waiting.

No finer bloke to turn the lights out.
I just clicked Who's Online, sorted it by name and looked for any familiar faces. Just talked to Logicus - one of the unsung heroes of BBCi and GW in my opinion. Without him I'd have never discovered h2g2, the hub, and iCan. BBCi is certainly a bewildering world. You discover you have a MY Space everywhere as if by magic.
Still haven't found a way to link up conversations but it's good to talk anyway.
Expect you won't get idiots dropping in here, but there again I can't see me trying to use h2g2 as a writing site. Too complicated for the old brain.
Nice to hear from you. I don't know if you've joined Morewriting. That has totally private personal messaging to keep idiots from looking over your shoulder!
We'll all hopefully have a bit more peace. Cheers,
Patrick

Patrick, I will join another site if I decide to work again but I am too busy to spend the time to learn, I shall just use the computer to make contact with those worth the effort.
Like you, logicus taught me how to get around, and he is there if I need him again, the same with TT both great guys, but they too have to be very careful where they place their trust.
I also joined the anneymouse site, but I found that one of the idiots had tagged onto it, and he disappeared quite quickly when he realised he had been spotted already.
I shall only be using them for a quick spin round to keep in touch, nice to contact you first, take care Patrick, my great grandfather was also Patrick he left Ireland about 1880.
Cheers H.
