I was at work all day then home late tonight eager to catch up on the latest news, and have read with great sadness all the ensuing events of today. I am very sorry that you were so poorly treated for your efforts.

I have appreciated everything that you have done and everything that you put forward for the writers here.

It is really unfortunate that bad news often brings out the worst in people, so much so that the thought of good news makes some want to sabotage it, because they aren't accustomed to having hope.

Whatever happens now, you have done your best and at the end of the day, that is something that you can and should feel very proud of, because you are one of the few who decided to take action, rather than accept defeat. You did not rub defeat into everyone else's wounds, but tried to salvage this site with dignity.

I just hope that through all of this that you keep writing.

best wishes to you,
annie

Please may I add my thanks too?

I always have repsect for those who try to light a candle rather than curse the darkness. I was proud to put something forward for the booklet, for the reasons NickyRichfield gave:"...those pieces [are] there signalling our appreciation of the site and our wish that it wasn't being closed."

Best wishes and good luck with your writing.

Thank you Kate, I am so sorry for genuine members like ChrisG and Nicky and a few more, the few are plain to see, they stayed, but I do not allow anyone to pour scorn on my friends, and I have no alternative but to quit at the winning post.

I do not break promises and five books were being printed at my expense, should five genuine persons emerge I may carry on with that side of my bargain.

One book was finished and it is going to Chris, if he wants it, which I doubt.

If he does not I shall offer it to Nicky but there is a catch, in it may be the work of many who were not genuine either, I am not working any further for the clowns who can see no further than their noses, so I am not sorting the trash from the treasure.

Thanks for the mail,

Cheers H.

H, I have taken my work off because, if I read your post correctly, you have already got ther pieces you want. But if you want me to restore it for use in your project, just drop me the word.

Best wishes

Kate

Dear H.,

Since I am hours behind here in NYC, I just wanted to tell you that I have been thinking about you and your efforts. I have just caught up with reading the public thread, but would rather write to you here.

I also hope that you continue with your project and present the book to HRH, as your friendship and appreciation to her and her kindness to you have not changed.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I wrote to the Dalai Lama again, including some of the kind words from some of the writers on the site, and he wrote back that he is very appreciative of others' kind thoughts of him, and that he continues to say prayers for all of us here.

When we have the good fortune to be accepted by people we truly admire, I believe that it is fine and good to share our appreciation of them as often as we need to and can, because they have human qualities too, and are touched by our attempts to reach them.

Thanks for the mail I am struggling to deal with a lot of mental defectives on here at the moment, common sense and effort is wasted, losing track of it at the moment but I seem to remember sending you an email that was returned, could that be right.

Keep watching I am posting the best I can, but the majority are just not worth the effort my only real helper Chris G has relapsed his parkinsons disease, and I am basically working alone they will try to get back on the band wagon, when they realise that I speak with 100 per cent accurracy but I am afraid that now I do not need them at all.

Cheers H.
