Hi Rich!
qué tal?
I guess you are pretty busy right now.
Are you at the hotel now? There´s something there waiting for you, well that´s what I expect.
Take care

Feliz Cumpleaños!

Hola Mar!
Hey, Granada was fantastic. I really had the perfect time. You know, at that time of year, it feels like nobody knows anything about Granada, because there are no tourists there. The teterias, the free tapas, the banos arabes, of course the Alhambra... it is the finest city, anywhere. I went there and it felt like home. And everybody was really happy to see Rudolph and the seven Papa Noeles!
And there was enough time to find something new, a few things. But the most notable was the building outside the city walls - go to Sacromonte, then keep going, and up the hill, and there is a big building, maybe a monastery or something, but it has both Jewish and Christian symbols carved all over. I think maybe it was a synagogue that was later expanded by the Christians. Do you know anything about it?
I'm away now until late January - until then, besitos
Feliz Cumpleaños!

My dear friend,
Cuánto me alegro! Granada never fails at giving pleasure.
The building you mean maybe the church of San Miguel. Is it at the top of a hill? It was profanated by Napoleon troops. It opens only once a year, on saint Michel day, 29th September. I´ll ask my sister, she may know better.
My dear man, you must be shaking by now, only a few days before your wedding!!!
Sweet Rich, I´ll think of you both next 11th. I´ll light a candle and have a drink for you.
I´m sure it will be a perfect shining happy day
lots of love for you two.
María
